1 clove of raw garlic, crushed
Juice of half a fresh lemon
½ small white onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of Manuka honey
Pinch cayenne pepper
Place all the ingredients in a large heat proof cup and add the boiled water. Leave to steep for 10 mins.
Strain the liquid then add the honey prior to drinking.
For a more intense remedy for severe symptoms of colds or flu, blend all the ingredients together in a blender and drink 1 – 3 times per day or until symptoms subside.
